TEACHING
With a background in pop, jazz, classical, musical theatre and new/experimental music, I teach with a passion for self-discovery and strive to empower my students to push the musical boundaries of the voice.
My teaching philosophy is rooted in cultivating sustainable vocal health as well as personal agency for mastering vocal craft. No voice is the same, and I stress the importance of adaptable teaching in order to hone in on the strengths and challenges of every student I encounter. I also strive to generate musical tools that students can use to advance their personal musical study–tricks for counting, interval recognition, breath support, and vowel placement.
I teach from my studio in Silverlake (Los Angeles) as well as online Zoom Lessons. I am currently voice faculty at AMDA Los Angeles (American Musical and Dramatic Academy).
